Hope on New Years Eve

To mark the end this significant year of mission, prayer, unity and Hope
there will be a special event in the city centre of Manchester on New Year's Eve 2008.

The evening will consist of a prayer walk around the city centre,
praying for the city itself and meeting people out celebrating and praying for them also.

The night will start at 11pm at the doors of Manchester Cathedral
where the prayer walk will commence until 11:45pm
when folks will gather with a brass band for a short outdoor service
to welcome in the New Year.

Wrap up warm, bring some tea or coffee, hot chocolate in a flask,
some mince pies or whatever you have to share with fellow prayer walkers.
It will be a night to draw together in unity to remember and pray for our city
and its people giving them to God for the year ahead.
